I have an 03 Yukon Denali with air ride suspension. It needs shocks and want to know if you can replace them with regular shocks

My "service ride control" light has been on continuously for eight years. 2 GMC dealerships and one individual mechanic accept yet to be able to turn information technology off or prepare information technology. Any ideas?

If there is nada wrong with arrangement and so what is in the picture is the 2 recommended fixes which 1 is supplant/rebuild cluster or module which module is replaced and reprogrammed. And so it depends on how bad it bugs yous equally both can be $300.00 plus to fix.

The service ride suspension light shows on my dash. I have checked the air compressor and the rear air shocks and they work fine. I saw some sort of rubber cups between the trunk and frame, I don't know if they are supposed to inflate or not. At that place are regulare shocks on the front end. What else can I practise to discover the problem?

The best way to notice out why the warning in on is to take the vehicle scanned for codes in the suspension command module. This code or codes volition requite you a starting signal. There are several components to this intermission setup without this code it's going to be more difficult to diagnose. I've personally see nearly everything part on these air ride (original equipment) fail. Without a fault code I can't give yous the help your asking for. You'll need a compatible browse tool to access the electronic suspension module. Let me know what you discover.

In answer to Alice and HMAC300 - It is the cluster - The problem is 2003-2005 GMC Yukon Denali - The cluster and module were covered under a recall. I only establish this out after my dealer supercede 3 different parts and would not reimburse me for the parts or labor (Even though they didn't set up the problem). That real pain about this whole hazard was when I left my car (3 days but they paid rental car fees) they forgot to notate my mileage, and then they put the old cluster back in. Now a have a xv year old Denali with 0 miles and that bulletin flashing all 24-hour interval long (anyone know how to disconnect the chinkle?)

That sounds like they did not install the old cluster because it would be programmed with the same mileage. Can you lot tell if it is yours scratch on the lens or? The cluster conduct the mileage.
